Terms & Conditions
By using AfternoonTeaForTwo or any other part of Hotel Stay International Limited to process your order you accept the terms & conditions detailed below and you agree that you:
- Have read these Agency Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them;
- Are over 18 years of age and where placing an order for services with age restrictions that you are of the appropriate age to purchase those services;
- Accept financial responsibility for payment of the purchase
Liability for Lost, Stolen or used vouchers
All AfternoonTeaForTwo Gift vouchers are cash value and must be looked after by the purchaser and redeemer. All voucher codes can only be
used once and AfternoonTeaForTwo is not liable for lost or stolen vouchers or codes used by any other recipient other than the intended recipient for the voucher. We advise to keep all voucher codes safe and ensure that all recipient details are filled in correctly, especially ensuring the email address is correct. AfternoonTeaForTwo under no circumstances will be held liable for any lost vouchers. Vouchers may only be re issued back to the purchaser only and will be subject to security questions and checks. Re issued vouchers will be re sent at the discretion of AfternoonTeaForTwo, should you lose your voucher we will not guarantee to re send you the copy. Once any vouchers and voucher codes are used, then the voucher can in NO WAY be refunded even if the user was not the recipient (in the case of lost or stolen voucher codes).
Should you require a hard copy of your gift voucher posting to you or the recipient, they will be subject to a postal and packaging fee as follows:
Standard Post- GBP 0.00
Special Post- GBP 3.99 (voucher will be sent recorded delivery)
(outside of UK & Europe) – GBP 7.99 or equivalent currency based on exchange rate.
To receive a postal copy of the voucher please apply during the purchase process or contact us via phone on 08445 008 061 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
stating that you require a postal version of your AfternoonTeaForTwo voucher sending in the post. On agreement of sending the email you are agreeing to be charged in accordance with the above mentioned postal delivery rates.
Postal delivery prices may be subject to change due to postal rate changes. We will aim to ensure you receive your voucher within 5 working days though this is subject to postal conditions. To ensure prompt delivery we suggest that you send your recipient the e-voucher.
Cancellation and refunds of vouchers
All vouchers are non-refundable and non-cancellable from date of purchase. Once the voucher is redeemed or used to purchase a product then usual cancellation policies for the package will apply and all refunds will be provided in vouchers as we cannot refund part cash and part voucher amounts.
Re issuing of voucher information
Replacement vouchers will be issued entirely at our discretion, and only ever to the purchases of the original voucher and will be subject to security questions and checks. Should the check not be successful, to prevent voucher thefts we will not re issue the voucher. Once any voucher and voucher codes are used, then the voucher can in NO WAY be refunded even if the user was not the recipient (in the case of lost or stolen voucher codes)
Voucher Expiry Dates & Re instating of vouchers
All AfternoonTeaForTwo vouchers carry a one year expiry period. This is clearly stated on the voucher or gift card documentation provided at the time of purchase. After this period the voucher will expire and this is NON-NEGOTIABLE. We are unable to extend vouchers and gift cards that have expired. We do require that vouchers do expire after a period to reduce fraud and misuse of old vouchers. Please ensure you use and enjoy your voucher or gift card before the expiry date.
Payment in advance
All purchases are paid for at the time of purchase in full. Payment is accepted by our secure payment process that uses the Ogone payment system. We accept most major debit/credit cards. Once your purchase has been made successfully you will receive an e-mail confirmation. All transactions will show up on your bank statement as Hotel Stay International.
All confirmations are automatically sent to you by e-mail, you must check that your details are correct as per your purchase when you receive your confirmation. You will require your e-mail confirmation on arrival at your destination hotel. Should you not receive your e-mail confirmation within one hour of making your reservation please contact our advice line on 00 44 (0) 8445 008 061 and we will be able to assist.
Documentation and Information
We aim to ensure that all hotel and destination information detailed by our consultants on the phone or displayed on this website is accurate to the very best of our knowledge. All descriptions and content on our website or otherwise issued by us is done so on behalf of the supplier in questions are intended to present a general idea of the services provided by the supplier in question. Not all details of the relevant services can be included on our website. All services shown are subject to availability. If you require any further details, in respect of any accommodation or any other services please contact us.
AfternoonTeaForTwo will not be liable for failure to deliver our obligations for any circumstance beyond our control to include, fires, floods, lightening, explosion, terrorism, war, act of god, fog, sickness, mechanical breakdown, utility problems, renovations at your destination, strikes and labour disputes. AfternoonTeaForTwo cannot be held responsible for any damage, illness, costs, accident or injury incurred as a result of an act relating to the hotel, partner or other suppliers.
AfternoonTeaForTwo assume no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing in this site or your downloading of any materials, data, text or images from the site.
Once you have exchanged and received your experience pack from one of our experience providers, you are bound by their terms and conditions. The experiences are non-refundable once selected and purchased. All experiences carry instructions on how to book directly with the experience provider, they will then advise you on availability and times you can enjoy your experience. Details will be included with the instructions you receive in your pack from the relevant experience provider. Please note that due this process you may not be able to book immediately or last minute reservations or bookings with your experience vouchers. Please therefore exchange your voucher at your earliest convenience allowing plenty of time to make your future reservation or booking with the relevant experience provider. We operate this system to allow a maximum choice of suppliers and experiences for you to choose from.
Liability is then passed to the experience provider and all liability is at that point between you and the experience provider selected.
Bookings made through our affiliate and link partners
We accept no liability for any content, data handling or content of any bookings made via our affiliate partners. We take great care when selecting who we work with however we are not liable for any actions, charges or issues that arise with our partners that are not directly related to AfternoonTeaForTwo. Should you be sent unsolicited marketing material from our affiliate partners then we accept no liability for your data being used.
Should you have booked through one of our affiliate partners then your details will be shared with them for their records. However, they will only market to you should you have ‘opted in’ to receive marketing from the affiliate relating to their products and services at the time of booking.
Though we thoroughly check our affiliate partner we cannot be held responsible for their content, endorsements or political vies and we disclaim any legal.
Fraudulent use of booking system
Should we suspect any fraudulent bookings being made via any of the AfternoonTeaForTwo company’s web sites, then the appropriate authorities will be informed immediately and any necessary legal action will be put in place against any individual committing fraudulent behaviour.
AfternoonTeaForTwo may terminate this User Agreement and these terms and conditions and/or the provision of any of the services at any time for any reason, including any improper use of this site or your failure to comply with these terms and conditions. Such termination shall not affect any right to relief to which AfternoonTeaForTwo and its third-party providers and distributors may be entitled, at law or in equity. Upon termination of this User Agreement and these terms and conditions, all rights granted to you will terminate and revert to AfternoonTeaForTwo and its third-party providers or distributors, as applicable.
Providing your details is an essential part of booking your hotel or short break; however, we want to ensure that you are fully comfortable with the whole process.
AfternoonTeaForTwo is part of Hotel Stay International Limited a leading travel company established in 2003. We are purely a travel and leisure based company that is fully committed to ensuring that your data is kept safe and is not used for any purpose other than agreed by you. Your information will not be disclosed to any other parties outside of the Hotel Stay International Limited group of companies unless absolutely necessary.
We hold your private details for one or all the following reasons
- Your details are kept on record to keep our purchase history up to date.
- Your purchase details are also kept to ensure we can contact you in any event with regards to your purchase. Sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances that will impede the fulfilment of your reservation and in this unlikely event, the easier it is to contact you, the sooner we can help you.
- If you have signed up to receive marketing about any of our products and services, your details will be retained and used for any relevant marketing purposes.
- If you have purchased through one of our affiliate partners, your details will be provided to them for their records.
Your personal data will not be sold to any other company
Marketing of our product, services and your data collection
Our marketing is aimed at ensuring that you are informed of any updated product developments and prices and we will only use your data provided to send you marketing material should you opt in by using the box provided at the time of booking. If you do not wish to receive further information at any point please inform us by e-mailing email@example.com and we will ensure you receive no further information from any of our Hotel Stay International Limited products and services.
Our e-newsletter is the easiest and most informative way of receiving the latest product and pricing information. You may sign up to our e-newsletter by opting in to our marketing at the end of the booking process. You may opt out of receiving our e-newsletter or any marketing information at any time by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We often share statistics with our business partners for reporting purposes, however this is not used to inform people of your detailed personal information.
Any data or privacy or information enquiries
AfternoonTeaForTwo may at any time modify these terms and conditions and your continued use of this site will be conditioned upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use.
Additional terms and conditions may apply to reservations, and other uses of portions of this site, and you agree to abide by such other terms and conditions.
This User Agreement, together with any terms and conditions incorporated herein or referred to herein constitute the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on this site.
These Agency Terms & conditions are governed by English law and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can bring proceedings in your local court under Scottish or Northern Irish law as applicable).
